Hey Y’all, Welcome!
I’m Barbara Vega, AKA Barbi.
So kool that you’re here!
I’m a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist - basically a health and wellness educator and coach, your greatest ally and advocate on your journey into deep self-care.
I am a proud, curious, and multipassionate soul, a Latina living in NYC, busy twin mom to London & Jaxon, fitness enthusiast, and MAJOR foodie! I am ALL about empowering women to put themselves first unapologetically, so that we can live our happiest and healthiest lives to the fullest because why the heck not?!
Honestly when it comes down to it, I’m just a relatable gal who’s made it my mission to explore, do, and teach all the things that light our beings on fire - in mind, body, and spirit - because all three are interconnected and without any one of these, the rest fall apart.
I know the struggle is REAL! So I’m here to share the health and wellness tips I actively engage in and learn about to inspire and build a community of women that also prioritize their wellbeing and chase their dreams, while navigating all the madness life throws at us! We need each other more than ever.
Join me as we go on this wild adventure together!
My Values
I am a lover of ALL THE THINGS, living and adapting to this crazy world we are blessed to be in today! My greatest value and personal goals in life revolve around FREEDOM - location, financial, and especially time freedom. Time is our greatest currency, being as finite and irreplaceable as it is.
I believe women are the strongest and bravest beings on this planet! We deserve to be living our best lives, having so much fun in the manners that we find most fulfilling, and putting ourselves first more often than we do, every day, in all the small ways that actually matter. Through my love of learning and teaching, I am putting myself out there in full transparency and authenticity - letting go of all expectations, fears, and allowing myself to be vulnerable with you. I am giving you a peek into my soul, in hopes that you too will follow suit and allow yourself to press play on your own life, dreams, and health in every way imaginable!
In Wellness, and with so much Love and Light,
Barbi
What’s my own Soul Care?

roadtripping and traveling outside of our NY/USA bubble
engaging in deep thought-provoking conversations and socializing in-person: bye weather small talk
pleasure reading anything from raunchy rom-com and erotica to self-help and financial literacy
writing, collecting quotes, reflecting - uncovering new parts of myself
moving my body to country, reggaeton, afrobeats, and old school Latin music, or podcasts
discovering hole-in-the-wall dives, dabbling in culturally-infused cuisines, and supporting mom-and-pop shops and restaurants
unleashing my creativity through arts & crafts and DIY home projects
being one with nature
I thrive on challenges, being different, new experiences, and trying to conquer every day, in big and small ways, while basking in this huge world that surrounds me. I’m an adrenaline junkie at heart! Heeeello bucket list, here I come!
More of my story in …
Words from my Love Tribe of Ladies that keep me going…
“Your strength is your positive attitude... your ambition... always trying to be better and work on yourself. You’re a safe space... You make people feel seen and heard! You’re caring and loving... and kind!”
— Jamie
"Your commitment to pursuing your purpose is nothing short of amazing. I admire how you strive to pay it forward; it's a gift that so many of us truly need."
— Lo
“I admire that you lead with empathy. That is not easy at all, especially coming from someone like me. You always try to see the perspective of why a person is doing what they’re doing, and you get down to the nitty gritty of the reasoning behind it. I also admire that you made decisions in your life and at least tried despite the judgment you have received and failure or risk involved. You have tried different things and pushed forward.”
— Yaz
“One of the things I love most about you is that you set your intentions and follow through regardless of what’s happening around you. Most people, including me, spend a large portion of their life trying to hone in on that level of self-discipline. Self-discipline is a huge act of self-love.”
— Mimi
